Tragically true:
A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves.
Well, I certainly think it's tragic that we no longer have journalists like Murrow.
And I don't think it's a good thing that the U.S. is characterized by black-and-white thinking. We are not known for a tolerance for ambiguity and that is not only unfortunate, it is very dangerous.
New policy: Anonymous posts must be signed or they will be deleted. Pick a name, any name (it could be Paperclip or Doorknob), but identify yourself in some way. Thank you.
