I do recommend checking in with Media Matters from time to time. It's really an eye-opener.Just days after the Democratic Party released a national security plan, CNN host Wolf Blitzer and NBC Today host Matt Lauer simply ignored the release and allowed -- and even encouraged -- Republican guests to suggest the Democrats have no "agenda." This continues patterns by CNN and Today of largely ignoring the Democrats' security plan, despite repeatedly reporting or commenting on the Democratic Party's purported lack of clear alternatives to the Republicans.
"In the post-meditative experience become a child of illusion" is a slogan from the Tibetan mind training tradition. We engage the world as we experience it all the while realizing that reality is not as it seems to be.

Mainstream media bias
I really get tired of the right-leaning bias of the mainstream media. I'm directing you, therefore, to Media Matters again today to take a look at an article about a recent example. Here's the summary:
