"In the post-meditative experience become a child of illusion" is a slogan from the Tibetan mind training tradition. We engage the world as we experience it all the while realizing that reality is not as it seems to be.

Churchill's approach
As I was driving home from church this morning I happened to be listening to NPR on the radio and Sir Martin Gilbert was being interviewed about his latest book on Churchill. He was constrasting George Bush and Winston Churchill with regard to the way they got their respective countries behind the wars they were waging. According to Gilbert, Churchill abolished party politics during WWII and formed an administration using the best and brightest from all political parties so that the whole country felt invested in and represented by the government. There were no partisan appointments, there was no cronyism.
Something to think about.
