"In the post-meditative experience become a child of illusion" is a slogan from the Tibetan mind training tradition. We engage the world as we experience it all the while realizing that reality is not as it seems to be.
I have to review the electronic medical records every day. While the handwriting is better (!), they are generally very impersonal, check box or summary records, rather than an actual note from the provider. Also, past information seems to carry forward from appointment to appointment, even if it's no longer applicable. All-in-all, I don't see how they will improve care.
When my company basically forced me to fill out a health profile, I resisted as hard as I could - until my office manager sat me down at her computer in her office and made me do it.
So, given that I'm overweight and a risk for diabetes and heart disease and all that...I lied my buns off on that profile.
They think I'm about 135 years old with the body of a perfectly fit 22 year old male vegetarian.
Hahahahahahaha!
There is no way they're going to cut costs by cutting MY health insurance!
