Quote of the Day
From TIME Magazine:
When this bill becomes law, the joy ride on Wall Street will come to a screeching halt.
-- Harry Reid, Senate majority leader, after the upper House passed financial-reform legislation
I am just about ready to move to Mexico or South America and become an expat! The yahoos in this country have lost their freakin marbles. Now we have a tea party person in congress...geez!What is next?
Oh, I totally get it, Annie. I've been saying that since "W" was first elected - with a brief hiatus after the election of Obama.... And now I'm saying it again. Sometimes I think it would have been better if I had never come back to the U.S. in the first place. But then I would not have met lovely people like YOU and the others who hang around the Center or this blog or both! :-)
Where did you live as an expat Ellie? I am very curious about how to go about it...even though I don't think I could afford it...any tips on web sites or other sources of info?
I can see how you might regret coming back here to this place which is becoming more and more ridiculous.
