Last night I heard on the radio that Oklahoma ranks 49th in the country for education. Then I read in this morning's paper that we have the 5th highest teen birth rate in the nation. Here are those top five:
Mississippi
New Mexico
Texas
Arkansas
Oklahoma
Something to think about, folks.

Red states... bet a list of the states with best education and lowest teen pregnancy rates are blue states.
ReplyDeleteYou know it, Anonymous. Also, these would be the states that don't have intelligent approaches to sex education that include birth control methods but promote abstinence only--as if! This also leads to high teen STD rates. So sad
