"In the post-meditative experience become a child of illusion" is a slogan from the Tibetan mind training tradition. We engage the world as we experience it all the while realizing that reality is not as it seems to be.
He is missing the point. Action was necessary, and Congress unwilling to do anything. The Fed did what it could. If anything, the past 5 years have made a case for the necessity of the Fed. Of course we should be outraged that the banks got bailouts while nothing has been done to address continued high unemployment. The fault does not lie at the feet of the Fed (google "Bernanke Unemployment"), but with a government unwilling to act. The fault lies with us for electing officials that believe that economic prosperity is a direct physical manifestation of innate goodness or morality or faith. That the poor are lazy or unworthy and deserve their fate. We would do better to look at passages like Matthew 5:45.
