Here's your headline:
Color-coded threat system to be replaced in April
You know, it never was about security. It was about keeping the American people afraid enough so that they would be easier to control.

I think warning systems are only useful when used like fire and disaster drills in schools. You know what the sign/alarm is or sounds like, but it's only ever used when there is something physically nearby or immediately there. A warning system that tells us there is a fuzzy threat out there somewhere is pointless. Although, as you say, it wasn't ever about security, and so appearing to be helpful and actually being useless was probably the point. Which is just sad...especially sad how many people fail to realize just how much brain control the government is gaining over the people of this country. I do like the Crayola color suggestions though.
ReplyDeleteGood points all, Maggie.
ReplyDeleteYou know what saddens me the most is that we, as a nation, have bought into this fear thing. We used to be a nation who truly believed that "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself" not to mention "Live free or die".
What has happened to us?????
(That's a rhetorical question, of course.)
