"In the post-meditative experience become a child of illusion" is a slogan from the Tibetan mind training tradition. We engage the world as we experience it all the while realizing that reality is not as it seems to be.
Reminds me of one of my most favorite children's books-- "Make Way for Ducklings" by Robert McCloskey.
ReplyDeleteJust saw that this morning on cheezburger. Gonna add it to my blog too.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwww!!
ReplyDeleteAnyone who doesn't think ducklings are sweet and lovely has no soul.
Yes, it's one of my favorite books too, Jan. Did I tell you than when I lived in Boston I discovered on grounds of the Boston Commons some bronze statues of the McCloskey ducks? They're wonderful!
ReplyDeleteEllie, I've seen those bronze statues! And we even rode on a swan boat!
