  1. Very clever criticism. I concur with the author: I also think Dr. Seuss would have been disgusted/outraged/enraged/etc with Newt. And he probably would have written some sort of rhyme to express his feelings.

    Also, on an herpetological level, it makes me very sad that his name is Newt and he's such a horrible person. Because newts are such awesome little creatures and he's giving them all (and salamanders too) a very bad name.
