Well, I'm sad to say that the public option was shot down in the Senate Finance Commitee.
Also Dan Rather's lawsuit against CBS was dismissed in its entirety.
Both are quite discouraging.

I agree. I was very disappointed. I am hoping there is still a chance the legislation might be passed with a "public option trigger" written into it.

I am sick about the defeat of the public option....what is wrong with people who paint a Hitler mustache on our president who is trying to get health care for everyone?...It is completely confounding to me.
