Just watch this ---- please:

I simply do not understand why public education is under so much attack in our country today. (This is not unique to Minnesota.) How is it that Republicans blame the poor for being poor and then turn right around and remove every opportunity for people to pull themselves out of poverty? It makes no sense.


  1. I admire Sen. Torres' passion. And I agree with you, Ellie; I don't understand the attack on public education, either.

    Maybe I'm wrong, but I wonder if they just don't care. Blaming the victim is not a rarity, and, though they would never admit to looks like that is what they are, in fact, doing.
