Who's responsible

A Facebook friend of mine posted the following:

Remember when teachers, public employees, Planned Parenthood, NPR and PBS crashed the stock market, wiped out half of our 401Ks, took trillions in TARP money, spilled oil in the Gulf of Mexico, gave themselves billions in bonuses, and paid no taxes? Yeah, me neither.

I'll chime in here: Yeah, me neither.

  1. I think this is really well put. It captures so much.

  2. I'm glad you agree, Courtney. Our Matt posted it but it was written by another friend of his.

  3. I just plagiarized it and posted it on my FB wall! It's a good one!

  4. Hi, Peg. I think that's exactly what the original writer wanted to happen!

  5. This has definitely spread across a lot of the status updates of my friends up here in NH...we should never underestimate the power of social media to spread one simple message/call for action across the country. If enough people stand up and say, 'this is enough, no more', then maybe real change will come.
