Dictatorial power

This is a comment in response to an NPR segment:

When the leader of our country has the sole power to lock up forever anyone he sees fit to, we have passed over the line into dictatorship. No matter how justified the law seems in denying the legal process to our "enemies," the President has the ultimate power to say who and who is not an "enemy," thus he has the power to imprison anyone he sees fit to, truly a dictatorial power.
